The subtitles come straight off the DVDs.
I don’t know what kind of person would make over 2,800 posts and take the time to manually type subtitles on each one, but I do know that I’m not that person!
I understand your question - I was surprised by the subtitles when I started this project, too - but you’ll have to send your issues to HBO’s DVD subtitle writers instead.
